Las Vegas

When Rance and I travels, we normally don't visit to a place that we have already been. We like to  explore new things and that feeling of experience  for the first time.  There's something special about Las Vegas tho and that specialness is attending  a long time elementary friend that will be  married on August 8 in a city that never sleeps. (Las Vegas)  I cannot wait to witness the beautiful couple finally tying the knot.
So after looking through all my Vegas memories... I felt that I should share Rance and I experienced back in 2012. Enjoy the photos!

When we arrive in Las Vegas, we stayed at the Flamingo Hotel. The hotel was nicely renovated and we got a pretty room for only $28 a night.

The next day Rance and I checked in to the Wynn/Encore Hotel where we stayed in majority of our trip. Wynn and Encore was exceptionally beautiful. The entire hotel is nicely decorated with different themes. Felt like wonderland with Butterfly accents, hanging gardens, and upside down umbrellas as part of their decor. Every corner and detailed beautiful things was like a dream. Click here for my Wynn/Encore post.

One of the places we visited was the Hoover Dam which was only about 1 hour drive from the strip. Taking this trip to Hoover Dam was worth it especially when taking the tour. ($30.00) You can see bits and pieces of how it was built, rich history  that translate to great stories.

Another interesting place we visited was the Red Rock Canyon. A very short drive from the strip (about 20-30 minutes). This place was a gem! looking back at the photos, I wished we had hike this place for a full experience but I wouldn't like the heat. It was 105 degrees at that time. And of course cruising the strip, hotels and watching shows are always great free things to do in Las Vegas. Every corner is entertain-able. With casinos everywhere, neon bright lights and clubs, Las Vegas is sure a party sinful city- the one that never sleeps.
